Today turned out to be such a Nasty Day. The kind of day that you just want to stay inside, curled up on the couch with a good (nook)book or with the family watching movies. I did run to the bank and to get cat food this morning before it actually started getting bad. (our cat has to have a special prescription food that we can only get from the vet, that's a whole other post)

Well Ken unfortunately, had to go in to work this afternoon. He is working the 3 to 11 shift. As he was leaving, the wind was blowing and the rain was coming down hard. I just kept thinking "Man I wish he didn't have to go out in this"

Within the half hour, Tanner looked out the front window and saw that our basketball net had been blown over. It had blown over into the driveway, Right where Ken's Car had been less than a half hour earlier.

We had this thing filled with water as well as staked in to the ground for support and it still blew over. (first time in 2 years). I think we may have been replacing a windshield if Ken wasn't working this evening.

Isn't the way God works just Awesome. Some may just chalk it up to coincidence or luck but I know that there have been too many close calls, near misses and WOWS, in my life to know that A higher power, Much Greater than myself or anything else on this earth was looking out for myself and my family.
Coincidence?? Luck??  I think not, but a God that loves us so much that he gave his only son for our Salvation ?  ABSOLUTELY !!!!
