22 Years !!!!

 So 4 Days ago Ken and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary. Again I made up a video to showcase some of our moments together the last 22 years.The song that is playing, Steven Curtis Chapman's I Will Be Here, is the song that I sang to him on our wedding day.

Emotions !!!

        I know it has been a while since I have posted on here so I have decided to try to get back to it more regularly . I know today it has been 14 years since 9/11 and so I do want to take a moment to remember all those that were lost that day ......

        Yesterday we celebrated my youngest son Jordan's 17th Birthday. I am a very emotional person and so for his birthday, I have made a slide show with a song that is my wish for both of my boys.


                  

A GRAND SITE July 28th 2012

Earlier today we had stopped at the 4 corners . Then we headed to the Grand CAnyon. All I Can say is WOW.. Words just can not do justice to this magnificent creation of our God so I will just let you see for your self.

Four Corners, Day 4 July 28th 2012

Today we went to 4 corners. This is a place where you can actually stand in 4 states at 1 time. Colorado is 1 of them.. Denver Colorado is where we flew in to from Maryland on Wednesday and are driving to California from to see my sister and her family. Utah and New Mexico are 2 of the four states and then there is Arizona. We got a few pictures of all of us in 4 different states at 1 time which was pretty neat. I posted them below. Now We are going to drive through Arizona and stop at the grand Canyon on our travels.

Colorado day 3 July 27th 2012

Well today we basically did a lot of driving but the scenery along the way was just spectacular.. I thought I would share a few pictures of what we saw on our drive.

Today before we started to head farther west we made a couple stops first. We went to Manitou cliff dwellings. It was really gorgeous.. as well as a place called Garden of the gods that we stopped at after that.

A VERY LOOOOONNNGGGG DAY Colorado Day 1 July 25th 2012

Wednesday turned out to be a very long day. We left Maryland and headed out west for a trip with my parents but for us the day started at 12:00 am Wednesday morning. You see we never went to bed that night. Ken got home from work at 11:30 and then we had to be at my parents house at 2:30 because a shuttle was picking us up at about 3 or so to take us to the airport. It just didn't make any sense really to go to bed. So we headed to the airport picking up some other people along the way in the shuttle. It still amazes me to think how we can defy gravity like we do when flying.

After we got to Colorado , got to where we were going to stay and took a little nap, We took a train ride up the mountain to Pikes peak... What a site. Talk about beautiful..

As you can imagine.. We were all REALLY exhausted by the end of the day. Looking forward to day 2 though .. More to come..
