We have a few bird feeders in our trees out front and I just love to sit in the living room and look out the front window and watch them sometimes. When we had our 2 snow days this past week I decided to take a few pictures through the window. These are just a fraction of what I took. Way to many to put on here. Out of all of them I think the male Cardinal was my favorite.

LOOK...I have a NOOK
When the e readers first came out, They were something that I said I would not like having. Don't get me wrong, I like to read, especially in the summer when I have more time to do it but I like the idea of being able to go to the Library and borrow a book and take it back when I'm done (I don't like to spend a lot of money on books). I like actually having a book that I can hold and turn the pages..... or so I thought.
For Christmas my fantastic husband totally surprised me with a NOOK. Guess what? I LOVE IT! The first neat thing is Barnes and Noble has a large number of FREE Nook Books that you can download on to your NOOK. Then if you Like the Nook on FB, every Friday they let you know about a book that you can download for FREE that day.
Finally, I can still go to the Library and check out a book. Actually I don't go to the library, I can sit right in the comfort of my own home and get on my local library's website and check books out and return them . I can place them on hold too and they will send me an email telling me when I can download them. It's fantastic. Now I know not all States libraries have the e books available. A friend of mine that lives in DE has a Nook Color and unfortunately DE libraries don't do it. I'm not really sure that all e readers allow it either. You can lend books to friends however, as long as they have a NOOK(COLOR) or App too.
So my mind has been changed. I do still like to read actual books too, I just read a regular book while waiting for an e book to come off hold. I guess I just jumped to conclusions at first in thinking I would not like an e reader. What is it they say? Never judge a Book by its Cover.

Superbowl "Saturday "
Part of some family pictures |
We all got a pair for Christmas |
We had pizza and I had snacks out, we just had ourselves a party, our own little Superbowl early. It was a good game. Even though the Ravens lost and it was the end of the road for them, It was still great to have family together and just have a good time.

My sister in law Debbie and me. You can't see it but we had each switched one of our Ravens earrings so we each had a matching pair during the game |

Twisted
Our Life Group Lesson Book |
You May have heard about the Shooting that took place this past weekend in AZ. A 9 year old girl was shot and killed as well as some others that were killed and injured. Well The Westboro Baptist Church, who are known for protesting at funerals of service men and woman , are going to be protesting at this little girls funeral. WHAT???
These people are insane. They get me so angry. They go out there and preach HATE in the name of my God who LOVED the world so much that he gave his only son for us, for them, for the people that they say God hates. God Hates the Sin NOT the Sinner. For them to be out there saying otherwise is just wrong. What did this little girl do? Nothing. She just happened to be there.
In our church Life Group that my husband and I go to once a week , we just so happen to be talking about how Satan takes the truth and twists it so that people tend to think what is truth isn't and isn't is. This Article shows a perfect example of this. The members of WBC are taking the truth and twisting it, BIG TIME.
My condolences go out to this little girls family and the families of the others lost in this tragedy. I pray that The God I know and serve, will comfort them and give them a peace in this time of sorrow.
